Sam Irwin is a freelance journalist and writer who lives in Baton Rouge. He is also the editor of the Louisiana Market Bulletin, an agricultural journal, and serves as the press secretary for the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry. His work has appeared in Offbeat, 225, The Advocate, and House and Home. Irwin’s fiction has been published by Dead Mule, Cape Fear Crime Festival Chapbook, and Murder in the Wind Anthology.
