Biography

Carrie Firestone is a writer, teacher, and community leader. She lives in Connecticut with her husband Michael, her teen daughters, and their pit bull, Roxie. Firestone connects with the world through travel, researching little pieces of fascinating history, and finding ways to inspire environmental stewardship and social justice work at the local level. She loves hummingbirds, cold coffee, Iceland, the 1910's activist Inez Milholland, and BOOKS!
