Tracy Carr is a researcher, editor, and writer in Jackson, Mississippi. She is the editor of Conversations with Ellen Gilchrist, forthcoming from the University Press of Mississippi in December 2025, and editor of the “Mississippi Books” page in the Clarion Ledger and Hattiesburg American newspapers. She serves on the board of the Mississippi Book Festival.
