Morgan Tarpley Smith is an award-winning journalist and bestselling author of stories with history and heart. She writes both contemporary and historical fiction as well as children’s fiction under the pen name M.L. Tarpley. She also works as a grant writer, marketing and public relations consultant, and publishing assistant for authors and lives in Shreveport, Louisiana, with her husband and son.
