Michael Birt is a wildlife conservationist, educator, and the founder of ResearchWild, a nonprofit dedicated to connecting people with nature through STEM education and immersive experiences. With a master’s degree in animal behavior and a background at the Fort Worth Zoo, Fossil Rim, and Audubon Nature Institute, Birt has led conservation programs in Southeast Louisiana and Indonesia. He also created Michael the Wildlife Detective, a children’s brand inspiring young minds to protect wildlife and solve nature’s greatest mysteries.

Michael the Wildlife Detective is back with a third adventure for young readers.

First, there are small bones all over the mansion's patio. Then, strange screeching noises at night. And now, glowing eyes? There has to be an explanation. Michael follows the clues, closes the case, and gets the job done!
