Kristie Guillory Edmondson

Lake Charles, Louisiana, native Kristie Guillory Edmondson earned a BA in Visual Arts from McNeese State University and then attended University of Louisiana Lafayette, where she earned an MA in Speech Pathology. She has worked in Iberia Parish with the special education office for 20 years as a speech pathologist. Edmondson lives in Lafayette with her husband and twin teenagers. Pelican State Princess Slippers is about Louisiana shrimp boot culture and is her first official publication.
