Adrian Van Young is the author of four books of fiction--most recently, Midnight Self, and the forthcoming Rough Beast. His fiction, non-fiction, and criticism have been published in Conjunctions, Guernica, BOMB, Granta, McSweeney's, and The New Yorker online, among others. He lives in New Orleans, Louisiana, with his family where he is a professional freelance editor and teaches in UNO's MFA Program.
