Elizabeth Shantell King
Biography
Elizabeth "Liz" Shantell King, a New Orleans native, is a 22-year-old psychology senior at Northwestern State University. King is president of the Brainy Acts Poetry Society. She won first place in NSU Argus and was also awarded the Larry Monk Young Poet's Prize of 2013.
