Biography

Barb Johnson’s debut collection of short stories, More of This World or Maybe Another, won a number of prizes, including the American Library Association’s Barbara Gittings Literature Award and second prize at the Barnes & Noble Discover Awards. She is also the recipient of a two-year writing grant from A Room of Her Own Foundation. Johnson lives in New Orleans, where she is the director of the Low Residency MFA program at the University of New Orleans.
