Biography

Sheila Hebert-Collins, a descendant of the first exiled Acadians, is the author of eight Cajun fairy tales and one historical fiction on the Acadian Exile.  A schoolteacher in Oklahoma for 30 years, the idea of Cajun fairy tales took root while she was dealing with homesickness. She now lives in the most Cajun place on Earth... Lafayette, Louisiana, where she continues to promote Cajun pride through her stories.
