The WordPlay Youth Spoken Word Showcase

Philadelphia native Nayyir Ransome has been seriously writing poetry for nearly four years. Inspired by mentor and local poet Chancelier "Xero" Skidmore, she gives thanks to him, Anna West and the rest of Big Buddy's WordPlay Teen Writing Project for giving her a platform to grow as a writer. She wishes to become a high school teacher and hopefully inspire others through her poetry. She enjoys reading, practicing her guitar and spending time with family and close friends.
