The Wordplay Youth Spoken Word Showcase

Toiryan Milligan was destined to become the poet he is today through the image of his uncle, who inspired him to first pick up a pen. Mos Def, his favorite hip hop artist, has inspired him to continue writing with variations of styles and literary techniques. Toiryan will continue to write poetry until he has opened the gateway for young writers to express themselves in a variety of creative ways and bring change to their community.
