David Madden is the author of many highly praised novels and short-story collections, including Cassandra Singing, Sharpshooter, Bijou, and The Suicide’s Wife. LSU Robert Penn Warren Professor Emeritus, Madden lives with his wife and son in Black Mountain, NC, and teaches a special workshop in creative writing at Appalachian State University.
