Victor Gischler is the author of seven novels, including the Edgar-nominated Gun Monkeys and the Anthony-nominated Shotgun Opera. He wrote the screenplay adaptation of his novel Go-Go Girls of the Apocalypse which is currently in development. He has scripted such titles for Marvel Comics as Punisher Max, Deadpool, Merc with a Mouth and others. He is the current the monthly writer for Marvel's X-Men. He lives in Baton Rouge with his wife and son.
