Civil Changes: Civil Service in Louisiana

Ann B. Dobie is a retired professor emerita of English from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She holds a doctorate in education from Columbia University and is the author of several educational books including Theory into Practice: An Introduction to Literary Criticism. Dobie has served as state coordinator of the Louisiana Writing Project and as a consultant to the National Writing Project.
